Description

Edarbi (azilsartan medoxomil) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It belongs to a class of drugs known as angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), which work by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems. Edarbi is usually taken once daily, with or without food, and may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
